youthXchange: climate change and lifestyles guidebook
This online and print publication was produced for UNESCO and UNEP as part of their youthXchange project and will be distributed to around 400 million 15-24 year olds around the world.
The research, writing, design and production of the guidebook was the result of a partnership between MELA members Adam Cade of SUSTEd and Rob Bowden of Lifeworlds Learning.

Pathways: to education for sustainable development
WWF has re-issued the Pathways resource, in order to support a new generation of schools who are working towards a sustainable future in a new climate.
Pathways offers a whole school approach to addressing Sustainability in schools, with a step-by-step guide to staff who are interested in facilitating this process. The guide can be used as a whole resource, or activities can be used alone. They are organised around a structure of opening and learning, then planning, reviewing progress and learning from it, and then moving forward. The process is designed to be optimally open and collaborative and to engage all stakeholders in a school.

Leading for the Future
Leading for the Future was developed around the concepts of "I, We, the Planet", on the basis that we, as individuals, educators and leaders, need to examine our relationship with ourselves, each other and the wider world, including the natural world. We engaged in deep reflection to this end, and we examined different concepts of leadership and education. We also used our hands and bodies, working outdoors and engaging with nature in sensory and observational and experiential activities. Pilots of Leading for the Future were held in October, 2010, with a follow-up in December, and March 2011, with a follow-up in May. Both pilots were evaluated and researched in detail and led to this report.
