Real World Drama - An African village decides...
This is a participatory Theatre in Education (TIE) opportunity from Real World Drama and is delivered by specialist drama practitioner and teacher Helen Hunter in your school. Using a mixture of artefacts and images, pupils will be taken on a journey into a West African village and be placed in realistic decision-making roles.
Based upon an earlier highly acclaimed TIE project of Village Aid, An African village decides is a great way to challenge stereotypes of Africa, to enrich global learning and to engage young learners in drama, critical thinking and creativity.
The day is fuilly resourced by the provider and can be delivered twice in a school day to ensure maximum reach and value for money. There are optional CPD opportunities for staff that are linked to this workshop.
